Speaker Product Refund Policy

Unless otherwise noted by the speaker, refunds are available on unopened, unused speaker products if returned within 3 days from date of purchase. You must contact the speaker directly and return your product to the speaker, unless you have made other arrangements with the staff of CFRI. Once your refund is approved, your original form of payment will be refunded within 7 business days.

Pre-Pay Event Cancellation Policy

Unless otherwise noted in the Event Payment Details, as general rule, refunds may be obtained provided that cancellations are received at least 5 days prior to the Event. However, refunds for events are not guaranteed. Refunds depend upon the policies of 3rd party vendors and other factors. By registering for this event, you understand that you may not receive a full refund should you need to withdraw. All cancellation and refund requests should be made to the CFRI Association Executive at executive@cfri.net or by calling 407-328-7773.

Membership and Guest Registration Waiver

Upon submitting this application, applicant does hereby acknowledge reading, understanding and adhering to the fact that publications, meetings, workshops, seminars, etc., produced, sponsored or promulgated by the Central Florida Realty Investors Association, Inc. (CFRI) are designed to provide author’s or speaker’s opinion in regard to subject matter. Such opinion is promulgated with the understanding that neither CFRI nor its individual authors, officers, directors, staff, or volunteers are thus engaged in rendering legal, accounting or professional service. If legal or other expert assistance is required, the services of a competent professional person should be sought. Similarly, public recognition of merchants or vendors offering special discounts or services to CFRI members shall not be construed as representing any form of warranty, endorsement or guarantee of such service, nor of member satisfaction therewith. CFRI and its officers, directors, volunteers, staff and authors thus specifically disclaim any corporate or personal liability for any loss or risk as a consequence of the use or application, either directly or indirectly, of any service, product, advice or information provided. 

Applicant does hereby allow CFRI the use and distribution of the information provided on the membership application unless otherwise stated in writing, and agrees and acknowledges that: (i) applicant has received a copy of the code of ethics or has been provided access to this document; Click here to access the Code of Ethics (ii) applicant shall not become an official member of CFRI until the application has been approved by the board of directors, and (iii) at any time within 30 days of submitting the application, the applicant has the unconditional right to request, in writing, to withdraw this application in the applicant’s sole and absolute discretion, whereupon the applicant’s dues shall be promptly refunded to the applicant at the address shown above; (iv) at any time the board of directors of CFRI has the unconditional right to vote not to accept the applicant as a member in its sole and absolute discretion, whereupon the applicant’s dues shall be promptly refunded to the applicant at the applicant’s address shown above; and (v) at any time the board has the right to revoke or suspend an applicant’s membership.

Applicant does hereby agree to abide by the CFRI Code of Ethics and Conduct, the CFRI Bylaws, and all CFRI established Policies and Procedures. These documents are posted in the on-line library in the Members Area and on the bottom of each web page.

Applicant acknowledges that effective January 1, 2009, eight dollars of each General Membership (individual or group) and eighteen dollars of each Business Membership (individual or group) shall be used by CFRI for lobbying and legislative related activities that are germane to the common business interests of the members of our association and in keeping with our Bylaws, Policies, and the IRS Codes.  This portion of the membership dues cannot be deducted as a business expense by members. 

Attention Business Membership Applicants: Prior to being approved as a business member, applicants must complete the State Licensing Information Form and provide CFRI with a copy of any applicable state license.  Click here to download the State License Information Affidavit. At least one named representative from each new business membership is required to attend new business member orientation before board can consider application for membership.

Recurring Billing Waiver

SHOULD I WISH TO DISCONTINUE MY MEMBERSHIP, I SHALL COMPLY TO CENTRAL FLORIDA REALTY INVESTORS ASSOCIATION’S POLICY TO SEND A WRITTEN NOTIFICATION VIA ELECTRONIC OR REGULAR MAIL 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE NEXT RECURRING BILLING DATE. Note: If you RENEWED a membership with more than one person on it, the affiliate members on your account should have automatically updated, but it's a good idea to still click on RELATED MEMBERS to verify it.  If you encounter any problems or need to change a member, please contact the CFRI office at executive@cfri.net or call 407-328-7773.

Refund Policy: Within 30 days of application, new general members have the right to request a refund of their membership fees.  Business membership fees are not refundable unless the board does not approve the membership.
